All pieces are fired to cone 6 in the final glaze firing which is roughly 2,232°F. This temperature provides a strong, durable, and vitrified clay body while still accommodating a vast spectrum of vibrant glaze colors.

**Note**
A food-safe glaze is a ceramic finish that will not leach toxic metals (like lead or cadmium) into food or drink, and is durable enough to prevent bacteria buildup. I will let you know if you mistakenly choose a non food safe glaze for a product that will be in direct contact with food/beverages
